The Club is now taking sign-ups for their Biddy Basketball program. Boys and girls in Kindergarten, First and Second grade are welcome to sign-up. Sessions take place on Saturday afternoons starting December 3rd through February 4th. This program teaches the beginning player the fundamentals and skills necessary for basketball development. Children will be taught dribbling, passing, shooting and rules of the game with no game situations. If interested, please come down to the Club office to sign-up your child.
Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 12:00-6:00 and Saturday 10:00-2:00pm.
99 Restaurants has made October the Boys and Girls Club Fundraising Month. Dine at the Franklin or Milford 99 Restaurants from October 1st through October 31st and you could help support the BVBGC.
- Order a special Boys and Girls Club sandwich and $1 goes to the Club;

Registrations:
**Registrations end when our rosters are full** TEAM SPOTS FILLED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
Register for the Club’s indoor soccer season at the Club office located at 115 Canal Street, Blackstone, MA during office hours- Monday through Friday 12:00-6:00pm and Saturdays, 10:00-2:00pm. U8, U10, U12 and U14 boys and girls are welcome to sign-up.
The fee is $105 per player + $20 BVBGC membership fee, which is good for one calendar year.
Games:
Played once a week at the John Smith Sports Center in Milford, MA. According to feedback from the center:
U8 will play Saturday mornings with an occasional Friday night,
U10 will play Wednesday nights or Saturdays,
U12 will play Thursday nights or Saturday nights,
U14 will play Wednesday nights or Saturday nights.
Games start November 4th through December 23rd and will be played on turf fields with boards. Game nights and times may vary based on the John Smith Center’s final scheduling. The schedule will be posted on their website for your convenience.
Divisions and Age Groups:
All teams will be entered into the lowest division of the U8, U10, U12 and U14.
Age Groups – According to the Mass Youth Soccer:
U8 – Born on or after August 1, 2003
U10 – Born on or after August 1, 2001
U12 – Born on or after August 1, 1999
U14 – Born on or after August 1, 1997
Registrations:
Sign-up for our 2011-2012 Travel Basketball League. Boys in grades 4th through 8th grade and Girls in grades 5th through 8th grade are welcome to register. Office hours are Mondays through Fridays 12:00pm-6:00pm and Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm. Club address is 115 Canal Street, Blackstone, MA 01504.
Last day to register is Friday, September 23, 2011.
Try-outs:
All boys and girls interested in playing will need to try-out on Saturday, September 24, 2011. A try-out schedule will be given upon registering. Upon making the team, the fee per player is $110 + $20 BVBGC membership, which is good for one calendar year. Players must also attend one weekly mandatory practice.
League information:
Teams play for the South Central Massachusetts Youth Basketball League www.scmybl.net. Games are played on Sunday afternoons starting Sunday, November 27th. This 12 week season runs through the last weekend in February and with playoffs and the championship game to follow the first and second weekend of March.
