The Club will have registrations for their February Vacation Program during office hours Mondays through Fridays 12-6pm and Saturdays 10-2pm. The program includes breakfast, lunch and a snack, arts and crafts, movies, games, computer time and tournaments. Children will be allowed to play outdoors but they must have the proper snow suit attire (a winter jacket, snow pants, mittens/gloves, hat, scarf and snow boots), also a sled. The program cost is $25.00 per child per day and the hours are 6:45am to 6:00pm. The program starts Tuesday, February 22, 2011 to Friday, February 25, 2011.
The Club is now taking sign-ups for their Biddy Basketball program. Boys and girls in Kindergarten, First and Second grade are welcome to sign-up. Sessions take place on Saturday afternoons starting December 5th through February 6th. This program teaches the beginning player the fundamentals and skills necessary for basketball development. Children will be taught dribbling, passing, shooting and rules of the game with no game situations. If interested, please come down to the Club office to sign-up your child/children.
The Club will be starting two new spring programs for middle school students: Fantasy Baseball and Volleyball.
Fantasy Baseball has a limited number of teams that can join the league so if you are interested, please sign up at the Club office by Friday, April 4, 2008. This 8-week season will start April 14th and run to June 8th. There will be an informational night that will take place on Monday, April 7, 2008 for those who signed up and a live draft on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. There will be prizes to the top finishers and an end-of-the-season party on June 9th for all those who participated. Don’t wait – sign up ASAP!
Volleyball will also be introduced to middle school students this spring. Co-Ed pick-up games will be played on Thursdays from 2:30-5:00 starting Thursday, April 10th. Players must be members of the Club. If you are not a member, forms can be found at the Club office and the fee is $20. This lasts for up to 1 year! Anyone can join!
The Club’s Skate Park is open! Boys and Girls Club members are welcome to ride in the skate park but must wear a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and use either a skate board or roller blades. There is no sharing of equipment with fellow skaters. The skate park will close due to rain or snow.
Please, NO Bikes or Skooters
If you are not a member, please fill out the membership application that can be downloaded from the main menu and return the application and $20 to the Club office. This membership last for one year.
