The Club will conduct their 9th Annual Best Ball Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. This year’s tournament will take place at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Harrisville, RI. To be apart of this event, please reserve your single or foursome golf package by June 13, 2008. A Single Golf Package is priced at $130 and a Foursome Golf Package is priced at $500. These packages include green fees, a cart, pictures and dinner. There will be prizes!

The Club will be starting two new spring programs for middle school students: Fantasy Baseball and Volleyball.
Fantasy Baseball has a limited number of teams that can join the league so if you are interested, please sign up at the Club office by Friday, April 4, 2008. This 8-week season will start April 14th and run to June 8th. There will be an informational night that will take place on Monday, April 7, 2008 for those who signed up and a live draft on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. There will be prizes to the top finishers and an end-of-the-season party on June 9th for all those who participated. Don’t wait - sign up ASAP!
Volleyball will also be introduced to middle school students this spring. Co-Ed pick-up games will be played on Thursdays from 2:30-5:00 starting Thursday, April 10th. Players must be members of the Club. If you are not a member, forms can be found at the Club office and the fee is $20. This lasts for up to 1 year! Anyone can join!

The Club will be celebrating National Boys and Girls Club Week Sunday, March 30th through Saturday, April 5th. Here are a list of events that will be held at the Club:

- Sunday, March 30th from 8:00am to 11:30am the Club will host their 2nd Annual All-you-Can-Eat Breakfast. Tickets will be sold at the Club office or at the door. Children 10 and under are $3 and Adults are $6.
- Monday, March 31st at 3:30pm the Club will hold a Paper Airplane Contest and Bingo.
- Tuesday, April 1st at 4:00pm the Club will have Daniel Doyle presenting a slide show on Dog Sled Trips.
- Wednesday, April 2nd from 3:00-4:00pm the Club will host an Open House and Ice Cream Party for members.
- Thursday, April 3rd at 6:30pm the Club will hold their 2nd Annual Talent Show. All students are encouraged to participate. Please sign up at the Club office.
- Friday, April 4th at 3:00-4:00pm the Club will host a Make-Your-Own Pizza Party for members.

The club is having Biddy Soccer sign-ups. Classes start Saturday, March 1st and run through Saturday, April 5th from 12:30-1:30pm. Children in Kindergarten, First & Second grade are invited to sign-up. Children will be taught the basic skills and fundamentals of soccer (ball control, dribbling, shooting) with no game situations.
